Preparing for the SAT and ACT
Your PSAT (and/or PLAN) score report contains useful information about specific sections on the SAT (and/or ACT) where you should focus extra attention to preparing for the SAT or ACT. Many students take formal SAT prep classes or private tutoring, although motivated students can often accomplish just as much with diligent self study. The College Board (SAT) and the ACT have compiled sample exams in their study guides that are an excellent resource for any entrance exam preparation effort.
For students who took the PSAT, you have access to The College Board's My College QuickStart™ which includes these features:

My Online Score Report – An enhanced score report that allows you to review each PSAT test question, your answer, and the correct answer with answer explanations.

My SAT Study Plan – A customized SAT study plan based on your PSAT/NMSQT test performance, highlighting skills for review and practice.
My College QuickStart™ is a great place to begin. Use the free personalized planning kit based on your test results which includes projected SAT score ranges, a customized SAT study plan, and a list of colleges, majors and careers to consider. To register, use your access code from your PSAT score report.
