Early Decision and Early Action Application Stats for Class of 2015

A number of colleges and universities offering early decision and early action programs have reported their early application numbers for the Class of 2015. 

Northwestern University reported that early decision applications increased by 24 percent, to about 2,100, when compared with last year. At the University of Pennsylvania, early decision applications were up 18 percent.  Both Duke University and Johns Hopkins, reported that early decision applications increased by about 14 percent. 

Early decision applications to Brown declined by 3 percent from last year while Columbia reported an increase of almost 8 percent and Dartmouth soared nearly 12 percent.
